Brief history of our family started around 1873 when my grand grand father Mr. Hayat Muhammad Butt started producing textiles on hand looms in Sialkot. Due to his sudden death in 1925, my grandfather Haji Allah Rakha Butt took over the charge of business and under his supervision, the company working with the name "A.M. ALLAH RAKHA & CO." concentrated on military Contracting. They dealt in British Military Uniforms, Military Badges and Military Hats & Caps. Then again came a twist when Britain left India in 1947 and Pakistan came into existence. At that stage my grandfather shifted his business to Kuwait and remained there till 1960 dealing in textile goods as a wholesaler.
After his death in Kuwait, my father Mr. Abdul Rashid Butt took charge of the business and started importing readymade garments from Far East, Europe & USA. Then the company converted into dealing in Martial Arts Uniforms and Accessories. It became the first of its kind in the whole gulf in 1973, importing Pakistan-made Martial Arts Uniforms. Gradually the business expanded to the markets of Europe & America. To get better control on the production, in late 70s we had to shift our main office to Pakistan and it started working under the direct supervision of Mr. Sikandar Rashid Butt.
For the last many years, need was rising slowly but steadily to start a new setup where we could produce the same articles but with more technical proficiency as the competition in the market was getting tough and tough day by day. Hence Megadon Classic International (Pvt.) Ltd. came into being under the debonair supervision of Mr. Sikandar Rashid Butt, the C.E.O. of the company. Since its start, it is moving forward very elegantly and we believe it will keep on flourishing day and night.
